2022 Sao Paulo Grand Prix will take place over 71 laps of the 4.309-kilometre Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Brazil on Sunday, November 13.
Thanks to the return of the F1 Sprint, the 2022 Sao Paulo Grand Prix features a slightly unusual weekend schedule. The traditional qualifying hour will take place on Friday afternoon, while the Sprint event will take place on Saturday. There will be two hours of Free Practice – an hour each on Friday and Saturday morning – while the most fascinating part – the Grand Prix itself begins at 15:00 local time on Sunday.
Aside from Formula 1, there will be two support categories on offer over the weekend. Porsche racing will be in the spotlight, with both Porsche Sprint Challenge Brazil and Porsche Carrera Cup Brazil taking to the track for two races each.
As 2022 marks 50 years since F1 first visited Interlagos for the non-championship 1972 Brazilian Grand Prix, there’ll be a 50th Anniversary tribute parade taking place with historic cars.
